DBpedia Association

Created on Sep 8th, 2019

The DBpedia Association was founded in 2014 to support DBpedia and the DBpedia Community. Since then we are making slow, but steady progress towards professionalizing DBpedia for its users and forming an effective network out of the loosely organised DBpedia community. The DBpedia Association is currently situated in Leipzig, Germany and affiliated with the non-profit organisation Institute for Applied Informatics (InfAI) e.V. If you are interested in details, please read the Charter of the DBpedia Association or check the flyer here. Homepage: https://wiki.dbpedia.org/dbpedia-association

DBpedia contains a large amount of content regarding car manufacturers and their products. With that data, we can construct a timeline which shows the evolution within the car industry. By limiting the amount of manufacturers, we are able to look at the full scale of the automotive revolution without cluttering the timeline.
