OVHD
OVHD or OpenView HD is a Free To View Direct Broadcast Satellite television provider in South Africa which is powered by e.tv. It was launched on 15 October 2013 on e.tv's 15th birthday celebration. To celebrate, e.tv awarded OpenView HD with four new channels which are eMovies+, eNolly+ (previously called eAfrica+), eToonz+ and eKasi+ which are free to air channels. It is owned by Platco Digital and has sister channels with e.tv. It has 20 channels and seven FM radio channels. It is the first satellite TV provider to offer free channels in South Africa with no monthly payments. Customers only pay once for the set top box and have a lifetime access to free digital channels.
