It was released on October 21, 2003, through Bad Boy Records and was produced by Sean Combs, Roosevelt "Bink" Harrell, Scott Storch, Mario Winans and Loon. The album was a success, peaking at number 6 on the Billboard 200 and number 2 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. "Down for Me", the single taken from the album, peaked at number 28 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks and number 19 on the Hot Rap Tracks.
