Doraemon: Nobita's Dinosaur (ドラえもん のび太の恐竜 Doraemon Nobita no Kyōryū), also known in some international markets as Doraemon: The Motion Picture, is a 1980 Japanese animated film based on the popular manga and anime series, Doraemon. It was released in Japan on 15 March 1980, about one year after the premiere of the 2nd anime television series, making it the first feature-length Doraemon film. In 2006 the movie was remade. In 1980, it became the highest grossing animated film of the year.
