Sweet Sweat (Amai ase) is a 1964 Japanese film directed by Shiro Toyoda. The film is about an unwed mother (Machiko Kyo) who works at a hostess bar and is struggling to keep her family together while continuing her relationship with her yakuza boyfriend. The film won Machiko Kyo two awards for Best Actress from Mainichi Film Concours and Kinema Junpo.
