Ludovico Manin

Ludovico Giovanni Manin (Venetian: Lodovigo Xuane Manin, IPA: [lodoˈviɡo maˈniŋ]; 14 May 1725 – 24 October 1802) was a Venetian politician, a Patrician of Venice and the last Doge of Venice. He governed the Venetian Republic from 9 March 1789 until its fall in 1797, when he was forced to abdicate by Napoleon Bonaparte.
