Agonda

Agonda is a large village located in Canacona in South Goa, India. Agonda is famous for its beach and It is one of the only four beaches designated as turtle nesting sites under the Coastal Regulation Zone 2011 notification. There is one more beach on other side of Agonda cliff called Cola beach which has an adjoining lagoon. As per constitution of India and Panchyati Raaj Act, Agonda village is administrated by Sarpanch (Head of Village) who is elected representative of village.
