PhishMe was founded in 2011 by Rohyt Belani and Aaron Higbee; Belani is the company’s CEO, and Higbee is its CTO. The company raised $2 million in Series A capital, and $13 million in Series B capital from funds including Paladin Capital Group and Aldrich Capital Partners. In October 2015, PhishMe acquired phishing intelligence firm, Malcovery Security, for an undisclosed sum.
