Ekituškuga
A ziggurat dedicated to the goddess Ištar was built near the center of the citadel of Nineveh, not far from the city’s main temple Emašmaš. This structure was given the Sumerian ceremonial names Ekituškuga ("House, Pure Abode") and Ekibikuga ("House whose Site is Pure").
