1131 Porzia

1131 Porzia, provisional designation 1929 RO, is an eccentric, stony asteroid and sizable Mars-crosser from the innermost regions of the asteroid belt, about 7 kilometers in diameter. It was discovered by German astronomer Karl Reinmuth at the Heidelberg Observatory on 10 September 1929. It was named after the wife of Brutus, Porcia, who kills herself at news of her husbands death in Shakespeare's play Julius Caesar.
