1947 KLM Douglas DC-3 Copenhagen accident

The 1947 KLM Douglas DC-3 Copenhagen accident was the crash of a KLM Royal Dutch Airlines flight from Copenhagen to Stockholm on 26 January. The accident occurred shortly after the Douglas DC-3 took off from Kastrup in Denmark. All 22 passengers and crew on board were killed in the accident. The probable cause of the crash was determined to be failure to remove the gust locks that had secured the aircraft's elevators while it was parked. It was the worst aviation accident in Denmark at the time of the crash.
