The 1997 Washington Huskies football team was an American football team that represented the University of Washington during the 1997 NCAA Division I-A football season. In its fifth season under head coach Jim Lambright, the team compiled an 8–4 record, finished in fourth place in the Pacific-10 Conference, and outscored its opponents by a combined total of 420 to 259. Jerome Pathon was selected as the team's most valuable player. Pathon, Jerry Jensen, Rashaan Shehee, Tony Parrish were the team captains.
