1999–2000 Georgetown Hoyas men's basketball team

The 1999–2000 Georgetown Hoyas men's basketball team represented Georgetown University in the 1999–2000 NCAA Division I basketball season. The Hoyas were coached by Craig Esherick in his first full season as head coach; he had replaced John Thompson, Jr. in mid-season the previous year after Thompson's resignation. The Hoyas played most of their home games at the MCI Center in Washington, DC, although they played two home games at McDonough Gymnasium on the Georgetown campus. They were members of the Big East Conference and finished the season 19-15, 6-10 in Big East play. They advanced to the semifinals of the 2000 Big East Men's Basketball Tournament before losing to Connecticut.
