The 2013 NCAA Division I FBS football season, play of college football in the United States organized by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) at the Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) level, began on August 29, 2013, and ended on December 14, 2013, and, not including all-star games, concluded on January 6, 2014 with the 2014 BCS National Championship Game. This was the final season with the BCS system in place for FBS football before the new four-team College Football Playoff system took effect for the 2014 season.
