3/24 (Catalan pronunciation: [ˈtɾɛz ˌβintiˈkwatɾə]) is the first and only 24-hour rolling news and information service in Catalonia, operated by Televisió de Catalunya (TVC). It is part of the five channel DVB-T multiplex of TVC. Currently, it broadcasts in digital terrestrial (DVB-T) and cable (DVB-C) television. Analogue broadcasting (PAL) was shut down on 3 April 2010. Although satellite (DVB-S) broadcasting was initially considered, it was discarded due to the high cost of uploading the channel stream into satellites.
