Aathma Balam (English: Soul Connection) is a 1964 Telugu romantic thriller melodrama film written, and directed by V. Madhusudan Rao. An adaptation of the 1961 Bengali film Agni Sanskar to the Telugu screen, the film starred Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Kongara Jaggaiah, and B. Saroja Devi in lead roles. The production design was helmed by G. V. Subba Rao. The soundtrack was composed by K. V. Mahadevan remained a chartbuster with hits such as "Chitapata Chinukulu" and "Ekkadiki Potavu Chinnavaada".
