Airport Collaborative Decision Making
Airport Collaborative Decision Making (A-CDM) is a joint venture between ACI EUROPE, EUROCONTROL, International Air Transport Association (IATA) and the Civil Air Navigation Services Organisation (CANSO) which aims to improve the operational efficiency of all airport operators by reducing delays, increasing the predictability of events during the progress of a flight and optimising the utilisation of resources. In addition this will increase capacity at participating airports. This aim is to be achieved via improved real time information sharing between airport operators, aircraft operators, ground handlers and air traffic control. The concept involves implementation of a set of operational procedures and automated processes.A-CDM has been fully implemented at Munich and Brussels Airport,
