Aluthepola Temple

Aluthepola Vihara (Sinhalaːඅළුතෑපොල විහාරය) is an old Buddhist temple in Divulapitiya, Sri Lanka. According to the regional folklore this temple is believed to be one of place where King Valagamba spent his time during the reign of five Dravidian invaders in Anuradhapura. Currently this temple has been recognized as an archaeological protected site in Sri Lanka.
