American Center for Labor Studies
The American Center for Labor Studies (ACLS) is a non-profit organization which creates and disseminates labor history and labor studies materials to elementary and secondary schools in the United States. The ACLS also partners with universities and colleges, state departments of education, and labor unions to develop learning materials and/or host them on the ACLS Web site. ACLS is governed by a five-member board, and its work is carried out by 16 "members" who guide the development of its materials. ACLS is housed in the Kate Mullaney House National Historic Landmark in Troy, New York.
