The American Hospital of Paris, founded in 1906, is a private, not-for-profit hospital that is considered agréé/non-conventionné under the French healthcare system. Located in Neuilly-sur-Seine, in the western suburbs of Paris, France, it has 187 surgical, medical, and obstetric beds. The American Hospital of Paris is the only civilian hospital in Europe accredited by The Joint Commission (TJC), an independent organization that accredits hospitals in the United States. It is also accredited in France by the Haute Autorité de santé (HAS).
