Amir Ganiel (Hebrew: אמיר גניאל ) (born January 6, 1963 in Jerusalem ) is a former Israeli swimming champion and record holder in swimming who participated in the World Championships in Berlin for the national team. He specialized in long distance. He has been cited as one of the greatest Israeli swimmers, with 11 records. His son, Imri Ganiel, is also a swimmer and national recorder holder.
