Assumption College, Kilmore

Assumption College (often known as ACK, where the K stands for Kilmore) is an Australian Roman Catholic co-educational secondary day and boarding school. The school is located in the town of Kilmore, Victoria. Founded in 1893 by the Marist Brothers, Assumption College first took boarders in 1901, in response to the educational needs of the Catholic families throughout regional Victoria and New South Wales. Assumption was established as a boys' school and this continued until 1971 when the school became co-educational. Female boarding commenced in 1995. The current principal is Kate Fogarty.
