Assyrian Australians are Australian citizens of Assyrian descent. According to the 2011 census, 30,631 persons identified themselves as having Assyrian ancestry. The Assyrians have mainly immigrated from, and are indigenous to, northern Iraq, north west Iran, north east Syria and south east Turkey, which are the countries that largely correspond with the Assyrian homeland.
