Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary
Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary is a Presbyterian seminary in Austin, Texas. Austin Seminary was founded in 1902 to provide pastors for the rapidly growing Presbyterian Church in the frontier Southwest. It opened its doors on October 1, 1902, at Ninth and Navasota streets. Austin Seminary also offers a dual degree program that allows students to work towards the completion of two degrees. This three-year program allows students to earn both a Master of Science in Social Work (MSSW) through the University of Texas at Austin and an M.Div. through Austin Seminary at the same time.
