Avant Records
Avant Records was a record label based in Japan that specialized in avant-garde jazz and experimental music. The label was started in 1992 by John Zorn, a composer and saxophonist, as an offshoot of DIW Records. Some 80 albums were released on Avant before Zorn started Tzadik Records in 1995.
