BVG Class H
Class H are a type of electric multiple unit trains used by Berlin U-Bahn. Just after reunification, more trains were primarily in an urgent need, in order to replace Class D, DL and E. The Berlin S-Bahn also need to replace the ageing trains. In 1992, BVG placed an order of 115 trains, but however was cut short to 26 and optional for 20 of them, to be delivered from 1995 to 2001. These trains were primarily used in all lines. Trains were numbered in 5xxx series.
