Baral /ˈdʒeɪləm/ (Urdu, Punjabi: بڑل) is a village on the right bank of the Jhelum River, near Pandori in the district of Jhelum in the north of Punjab province, Pakistan. Baral village is known for providing a large number of soldiers to the British Army before independence and later to the Pakistan armed forces. Due to which Baral is also known as city of soldiers or land of martyrs and warriors. Baral is very beautiful village of Jhelum located near Mangla or Bbaral Cantt, Pandori village and Potha village. There are many casts living in The village such as Choudries, Rajas, Junjua Rajpoots and many more. The Jhelum city is Around 28 km far from the village.
