Basúchil

Basúchil is a village in the municipality of Guerrero, State of Chihuahua, Mexico. It was founded in 1710 and was initially named San Antonio de la Villa de Aguilar, which was later changed to Communidad de Basúchil. Cerro de Miñaca (Miñaca Hill), a butte, is the landmark above the town. The Adolfo Lopez Mateos-Madera Highway (Route 16) passes on the east side of the village. As of 2010, the town had a population of 1,451.
