beekeeper is a Canadian indie rock band from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Their debut album, BE KEPT, was released independently on September 15, 2010. It was recorded (in part) and mixed by Colin Stewart (The New Pornographers, Dan Mangan, Kathryn Calder) at The Hive Creative Labs. The first single from the album was "Sudden Cuckoo" and charted on numerous Canadian college radio stations, reaching No. 102 overall. The song has also been in rotation on CBC Radio 3. The members of beekeeper also play with Hey Ocean, Sidney York, and Katie Rox.
