Bengali Braille is used for the Bengali and Assamese languages. According to UNESCO (2013), there are slight different braille conventions for Bengali language in Bangladesh and India, this article compares Bengali Braille in the two countries. As Assamese language also shares almost a common script with Bengali language, the Bengali Braille is also used for the Assamese language.
