The pageant was broadcast by GMA Network from the Araneta Coliseum. 26 candidates were initially announced, but 2 ladies backed out, bringing it to 24 official candidates. The event was hosted by Dingdong Dantes, Dennis Trillo, and Pia Guanio. Guest performers included Cueshé, Alfred Vargas, Dion Ignacio, Andrew Wolff, and Jeremy Marquez.
