Brazoria, Texas

Brazoria (/brəˈzɔəriə/ bra-ZOAR-ee-a) is a city in the U.S. state of Texas, within Houston–The Woodlands–Sugar Land metropolitan area and Brazoria County. As of the 2010 U.S. Census, the city population was 3,019. Brazoria was originally founded as a port for Stephen F. Austin's colony.
