Brzeziny, Nysa County
Brzeziny [bʐɛˈʑinɨ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Skoroszyce, within Nysa County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) east of Skoroszyce, 17 km (11 mi) north-east of Nysa, and 35 km (22 mi) west of the regional capital Opole. Before 1945 the area was part of Germany and the name of the village was Groß Briesen (see Territorial changes of Poland after World War II).
