Bykovo Airport

Bykovo Airport (Russian: Аэропорт Быково) (IATA: BKA, ICAO: UUBB) was a small regional airport serving Moscow, Russia. It is located about 35 km southeast of the city along the Ryazan highway and railway close to the town of Zhukovsky. It has one 7,250 ft (2,210 m) runway. It served mainly short-haul domestic flights due to its short runway. No regular flights originate from there. On 18 October 2010 passenger operations at the airport were shut down due to the expiration of lease terms with the management company. In 2011 the terminal building was demolished.
