Camargo is one of the 67 municipalities of Chihuahua, in northern Mexico. The municipal seat lies at Santa Rosalía de Camargo. The municipality covers an area of 16,066 km². As of 2010, the municipality had a total population of 48,748, up from 47,209 as of 2005. The municipality had 623 localities, the largest of which (with 2010 populations in parentheses) was: Santa Rosalía de Camargo (40,221), classified as urban.
