Cavallirio

Cavallirio is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Novara in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 80 kilometres (50 mi) northeast of Turin and about 20 kilometres (12 mi) northwest of Novara. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,254 and an area of 8.1 square kilometres (3.1 sq mi). The municipality of Cavallirio contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Stoccada, Polera, Villa, Piatè, Suloro, and Cademarco. Cavallirio borders the following municipalities: Boca, Cureggio, Fontaneto d'Agogna, Prato Sesia, and Romagnano Sesia.
