The Center for Feeling Therapy was a psychotherapy group which was referred to as a cult by various sources. It was founded in 1971 in Los Angeles. "By any definition it was a cult," a Judge wrote of the center. It was led by Richard Corriere (Riggs) and Joseph Hart, who both would lose their licenses to practice psychology. It has been called the greatest psychological scandal of its time and lead to the biggest pychological lawsuit of its time.
