The Center for Popular Economics (CPE) is an American non-profit collective of progressive economists. The founding members of the center are Samuel Bowles, Juliet Schor, Diane Flaherty, David Kotz, and Tom Riddell. Advisory committee members include Howard Zinn and Barbra Ehrenreich. The center is based in Amherst, Massachusetts. In 2012, CPE produced a resource booklet titled "Economics for the 99%".
