Central High School (Duluth, Minnesota)

Duluth Central High School, also known as Central High School, was a secondary school located in Duluth, Minnesota, which educated students in grades ten through twelve until seventh and eighth grades were added after the closing of Washington Junior High School in 1992. The school mascot was the Trojan. It first opened in 1893 in the original building at the intersection of Lake Avenue and Second Street. In 1971, the new Central High School building was built on top of the hill near the intersection of Central Entrance and Pecan Avenue.
