Ciampi Cabinet

The Ciampi Cabinet was the 52nd cabinet of the Italian Republic following World War II and the second and final cabinet of the XI Legislature. It held office from 28 April 1993 until 10 May 1994, a total of 377 days, or 1 year and 12 days. It was the first government of the Republic to be led by a non-Parliamentarian. The government was a technical one. Former communists joined the government for the first time since 1947, but they left the government after a few days. Initial composition of the government: The government resigned on 13 January 1994.
