The ground record crowd was set on 26 June 1965 when 21,695 fans saw Collingwood defeat North Melbourne. The oval is currently fenced off from the public. The oval sits inside the wider G. A. Bridges Reserve, which includes a leisure centre, a bowls club and a former trugo club.
