The College of Practitioners of Phytotherapy (CPP) is a British professional organisation for herbalists. Phytotherapy is a term often used as a synonym for medical herbalism. The herbalist Hein Zeylstra established the CPP in 1991 from a desire to provide medical herbalism with a credible and rational basis through training and research as well as in practice. They provide ongoing professional training for herbalists and other healthcare workers, a register of members, an online resources library and professional indemnity insurance.
