Czech–Slovak Battlegroup

The Czech–Slovak Battlegroup or (incorrectly) Czech–Slovak Battle Group is an EU Battlegroup, led by the Czech Republic, in which Slovakia also participates. It consists of 2500 soldiers - 2100 Czechs and 400 Slovaks. It was on standby from 1 July 2009 until 31 December 2009. The battlegroup is capable of rapid deployment in a region of 6000 km far within 10 days.
