Dún Laoghaire (Irish pronunciation: [d̪ˠuːn̪ˠ ˈɫeːrʲə]) is a suburban seaside town in County Dublin, Ireland, about 12 km (7.5 miles) south of Dublin city centre. Formerly a major port of entry from Britain, from 1821 to 1920 it was named Kingstown.
