Daihatsu Sigra

The Daihatsu Sigra (also called Toyota Calya) is a mini MPV designed by Daihatsu and manufactured by Astra Daihatsu in Indonesia since 2016. It was based on Daihatsu's UFC-3 concept car that was presented at the 2014 Indonesia International Motor Show in Jakarta and shares the platform with the Daihatsu's Ayla and Toyota's Agya. It uses the same 1.2-liter 3NR-VE engine as the Toyota's Etios Valco with Dual VVT-i and 1.0-liter 1KR-VE as the Ayla with VVT-i (used in Sigra only). Its engine codes use -VE suffix instead of -FE because both engines are also used in Daihatsu cars, as Daihatsu did for their engine code in 2015-facelifted Xenia and its rebadged version Avanza. It sits below the Toyota's Avanza and Daihatsu's Xenia and competes with the Datsun Go+. It was unveiled on 2 August 2016
