Darkhan Kydyrali Kuandykuly (born on April 16, 1974, in the Tulkibas district of the South Kazakhstan region) is distinguished scholar, doctor of historical sciences and writer. Dr. Kydyrali is the Academician of the Aitmatov Academy, the laureate of the "Daryn" State Youth Award and "Kultegin" prize. He is the member of the UNESCO and ISESCO Kazakhstan National Committee, as well as the International "PEN" Сlub. Darkhan Kydyrali has been selected as the member of the onomastics committee under the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as the member of the Executive board of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan.
