Diploma is certificate issued by an educational institute . It is a three-year course in India, some of courses that can be opted are Information science, computer science, electrical, electronics, mechanical, fashion designing and many more. With two semesters each year which will be conducted once in six months. Students are expected to clear all subject. There will minimum of nine subjects for each semester .No more than five backlogs are allowed . If any students have more than 4 backlogs they will be held back for the whole year. The backlogs should be cleared in the next semester by taking supplementary exam. After the completion of three years the student can either go to a job or join engineering .
