Director-General of the National Crime Agency
The Director-General of the National Crime Agency is the head of the National Crime Agency in the United Kingdom, and as such is responsible for ensuring the effective running of the agency. The office is assisted by a deputy director-general who is responsible for the day-to-day running of the organisation. The NCA is not directly part of the Home Office allowing the director-general to make full decisions on the operations it undertakes, however the director-general reports to and is appointed by the Home Secretary.
