He is best known for his role as Oscar in The Gospel (2005), soccer referee in Disney's The Odd Life of Timothy Green (2012), and as a self-absorbed swindler, Omar in 4 Minutes (2009). 4 Minutes, nominated at ABFF (2009) national film festival, is one of the films Boyd was the director, co-writer, producer, and costar.
