Edwardsville High School

Edwardsville Senior High School is a public high school located in Edwardsville, Illinois. It currently serves over 2,500 students and contains grades 9-12, and served 2456 students in the 2012-2013 school year. It is the only high school in the Edwardsville Community Unit School District 7 (simply known as "District 7"), and with six Primary elementary schools, four intermediate schools (two new elementary schools, one K-2 and one 3-5 being built in 2007), and 2 middle schools (with Liberty Middle School being completed in 2005), EHS is a funneling point for all District 7 students from Edwardsville and Glen Carbon north, up to Worden, Moro, Dorsey, Hamel, and Holiday Shores. This encompasses almost an entire portion of the county from I-270 north between I-55 and Illinois State Route 255
